India’s future will emerge through Karnataka: Minister Deshpande

Mysuru: “Invest, innovate and invent in Karnataka as this state has all the potential to witness the future of India emerge out of it,” said Minister for Medium and Heavy Industries, Government of Karnataka, R.V. Deshpande.

He was speaking after inaugurating the 31st National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC) organised by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), in association with JSS Science and Technology University in city this morning.

Karnataka is rich in talent and human resource too, said the Minister, thanking educational institutions, especially those established by private sectors, for having produced the best of talents. “We need to thank all our visionaries and leaders including the then Maharaja Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar for having thought ahead and helped the State evolve in every aspect ranging from education, health, industries, infrastructure and architecture to name a few,” he said.

Minister for Medium and Heavy Industries R.V. Deshpande and Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji are seen lighting the traditional lamp to inaugurate the four-day National Convention on Quality Concepts organised by Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) in association with JSS Science and Technology University at SJCE campus, this morning as JSS S&T University Vice-Chancellor Dr. B.G. Sangameshwar, MLA Vasu, QCFI Director Dr. N. Muthukumar and others look on.

The Minister also presented the QCFI awards given away to best organisations and industries from across India for their achievements and excellence in different categories. Suttur seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami released the NCQC souvenir.

Earlier, Dr. B.G. Sangameshwara, Vice Chancellor, JSS Science and Technology University welcomed the gathering, JSS Mahavidyapeeta Executive Secretary C.G. Betsurmath released the QCFI theme song.

MLA Vasu, Director QCFI and President and whole-time director, Automotive Axles Limited Dr. N. Muthukumar, QCFI President Satish Kalokhe, QCFI Executive director D.K. Srivastava, and advisor, TED, JSS Mahavidyapeeta M. H. Dhananjaya were present.
