Indore ITF Women’s Tennis: Dhruthi goes down in pre-quarters

City’s Dhruthi T. Venugopal, representing India in the $15,000 ITF Women’s Tennis Tournament being held in Indore from Nov.27 to Dec.3, lost in the women’s singles pre-quarterfinals yesterday.

India’s Pranjala Yadlapalli seeded fourth beat Dhruthi 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 and entered the quarter-finals in the women’s singles event.

India’s Sai Samitha, teaming up with Ho Ching WU, beat Dhruthi  Venugopal and Bunyawi T 6-2, 7-6(4) and entered the semi-finals in the women’s doubles event.
