Mysore/Mysuru: Uday Devanagundy, Associate Director for Software Development, Microchip Technology Inc, Austin, USA, recently visited JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU).
Uday, an alumnus of SJCE, Mysuru, has an expertise in memory design and data transmission and he also owns US patents to his credit. He is associated with JSS University and shared a few projects on memory design to faculty and students. These projects were successfully completed and published as research articles.
Uday had discussion with University authorities and faculty members for possible collaboration in the area of semiconductor design with JSS STU.
After delivering a talk on ‘How to shape careers for industry and entrepreneurship,’ he had a discussion with students on industry based projects.
Dr. A.N. Santhosh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JSS STU, assured that JSS STU is always open for industry interaction and skill development events of students and faculty.
Dr. S.A. Dhanaraj, Registrar, JSS STU, shared the initiatives taken up by JSS University for Industry Academia interaction events at international level.
Dr. B. Manoj Kumar, Dean Academics, Dr. B.S. Harish, Deputy Registrar of JSS STU, Dr. M.S. Mallikarjunaswamy, Associate Professor and mentor of collaborative projects, Dr. K. Umarani, Head of Electronics and Instrumentation, Dr. K. Shailaja, Professor and Dr. N. Sheela, Coordinator of the event, were present.
