Maddur: Two youths in drunken stupor have assaulted a man over petty reasons at H.K. Veerannagowda Nagar in Maddur on Monday.

While the injured has been identified as Siddaraju of H.K.V. Nagar, the youths who assaulted him are Karthik and Yogesh of Valagerehalli.

Siddaraju, who was severely injured in the incident, was admitted to Gurushantappa Government Hospital in Maddur. A case has been registered at Maddur Police Station in this regard.
