Information on non-acquired land of villages must be sent through City Planning Cell

Mysuru: MUDA Commissioner Dr. M. Mahesh has directed the City Planning Cell to itself send reports on acquisition of land in villages and not to refer the files received from the DC office seeking opinion on land conversion and acquisition in villages, to the Land Acquisition Cell.

Hitherto, the MUDA was despatching land conversion/acquisition files sent by the DC office to its Land Acquisition Cell. But the Cell was taking too long to send its opinion besides causing a lot of inconvenience to the farmers, who were made to visit the office a number of times.

The villages where land is acquired by MUDA are: Mysuru Kasaba Hobli -Erangere, Devanur, Kesare, Hanchya, Rammanahalli, Kyathamarahalli, Yeraganahalli, Alanahalli, Nadanahalli, Chamundi Hill, Kurubarahalli, Bandipalya, Hosahundi, Nachanahalli, Srirampura, Ajayyanahundi, Chikkaharadanhalli, Malalawadi, Dattagalli, Bogadi, Hinkal, Basavanahalli, Maragowdanahalli, Paduvarahalli, Kukkarahalli, Metagalli, Vijayashripura, Belavatha, Halalu, Lingambudhi, Hebbal, Koppalu and Sathagalli.

Varuna Hobli-Lalithadripura, Sarakari Uttanahalli, Yandalli, Chikkahalli and Choranahalli.

Jayapura Hobli- Kergalli, Yedahalli, Chowdahalli, Kemmannapura and Ballahalli.

Yelwal Hobli – Madagalli (only Survey No, 17) and Chamalapura and Handuvinahalli in Nanjangud taluk, according to the MUDA Commissioner.
