Inter-College theatre contest at Rangayana from Dec. 9

Rangayana theatre repertory has invited applications from Colleges to take part in the inter-college theatre competition to be held from Dec. 9 to 13 at Rangayana. The competition is being organised in association with  Karnataka Nataka Academy, Bengaluru. Aided and Unaided Pre-University, Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Colleges in Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Chikkamagalur, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada are eligible to take part. Interested theatre troupes can send their applications through respective College Principals to: The Director, Rangayana, Karnataka Kalamandira premises, Vinobha Road, Mysuru, before 5 pm on Nov. 25.

The organisers have also announced a cash reward of Rs. 50,000 for winners, Rs. 30,000 for runners and Rs. 20,000 for third place.  Applications can be downloaded from www.rangayanamysore.karnataka.gov.in, according to a press release.
