Inter-Collegiate Cross Country Championships: Maharaja’s College, Teresian College for Women bag top honours

Mysuru: Maharaja’s College (22 points) and Teresian College for Women (19 points) won the team championship title in the men’s and women’s section respectively in the Mysuru City Inter-Collegiate Cross Country Championship-2018, conducted jointly by the Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore (UoM) and Onkarmal Somani College of Education at the Varsity recently.

RESULTS

Men: 1. H.D. Lakshman (Maharaja’s College) – 33:11.33 sec.; 2. H.M. Bella Nayaka (Basudev Somani College) – 34:29.17 sec., 3. H.D. Rama (Maharaja College) – 35:24.51 sec.; 4. M. Manjanath (PGSC, MGM) – 35:59.63 sec.; 5. Puttaraju (GFGC, Siddharthanagar) – 36:36.37 Sec., 6. Mamthappa (PGSC, MGM) – 36:43.49 sec.; 7. P. Manikanta (Maharaja’s College) – 37:07.00 sec.; 8. V. Ravi (Basudev Somani College) – 37:09.00 sec.; 9. B. Adarsh (St. Joseph First Grade College) – 37:17.00 sec.; Team Championship: Maharaja’s College – 22 points.
