Mysuru: The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Vidyavardhaka College of  Engineering (VVCE) is organising a two-day students event “Panchatantra” from Oct. 18. The event comprises five competitions — Mad-Ads, Quiz, Best out of Waste, Tech Charades and Poster-making. 

This event provides a platform for the students to imbibe the pragmatic skills of verbal communication, commercial awareness, critical thinking and team working skills. The objective is to allow the students to delve into the intricacies of technical and non-technical aspects of engineering.

Manjunath Byndoor, Managing Director, Muorhopye Scientific Company, who will be the chief guest, will inaugurate the programme on Oct. 18 at 9.30 am at Sahukar Channaiah auditorium of the College.

Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, will preside. Dr. G.V. Naveen Prakash, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, faculty coordinators Prof. B. Vinod, Prof. B.B. Ganesha, Prof. K. N.
