Mysuru: An Inter- School Quiz contest was conducted by JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar recently.
Dr. Javeed Nayeem, who was the chief guest, spoke at length about the need for youngsters to serve the rural people once at least in their life time and insisted on students to read books as its is a rich source of treasure.
He encouraged the students to respect elders and do kind deeds unto others. In all, 14 schools took part in the quiz competition. Kautilya Vidyalaya won the quiz while Excel Public School were the runners-up.
Tanmayee Yatish and Sameeksha Aradhya Math conducted the quiz along with Anuradha Singh. S. Niranjan and G. Anurag Gowda were the score-keepers. Koushal Raj was the time-keeper. Apeksha P. Chakravarthy compered the show. Saniha S. Jain welcomed. Rutu Gowri proposed a vote of thanks, according to B. Latha, JSS Public School Principal.
