As part of its ‘Sahitya Chavadi’ interaction programme, Kalasuruchi has organised a talk by Giridhar Khasnis, a senior Art Writer, Artist, Photographer, Columnist and Curator based in Bengaluru, at Suruchi Rangamane in Kuvempunagar at 10.30 am on Jan. 26. More than 1,200 of Giridhar’s essays on art, literature and world cinema have appeared in national newspapers and magazines. He was on the jury of Toto-Tasveer Awards for Photography in 2013 and 2014.

The Incheon Art Platform invited him to the International Curators’ Residency in South Korea in 2017. His collection of Kannada microfiction, Ellindalo Haari Bandu, published in December 2023, was reissued in July 2024. He is working on a photo-art book, a compilation of his published essays on modern and contemporary art and a collection of his Kannada short plays.
