Mysuru:  A two-day International Conference on ‘Innovations in Engineering, Technology and Sciences’ (ICIETS- 2018), organised by NIE Institute of Technology (NIE-IT) will be held on Sept. 20 and 21 at its premises in Koorgalli on KRS Road in city.

The conference will be inaugurated by former VC of VTU Belagavi Dr.H.P. Kincha, on Sept. 20 at 10 am. He will also deliver the keynote address. Hon. Treasurer of NIE Group of Institutions R.S. Rajkumar will preside and release the conference proceedings.   

BESCOM Managing Director C. Shikha will inaugurate the NIE-IT e-Shikshana Laboratory. Director General of NIWE Dr. K. Balaraman will inaugurate the 85 kw solar rooftop power plant. Er. N. Narasimhegowda of CESC will inaugurate the Centre for Renewable Energy Technologies while Benild Joseph will inaugurate Resource Centres NCSSS and ISSA.

NIE Hon. Secretary G.S. Ramachandra, Principal and CEO of NIE-IT Dr.T.  Ananthapadmanabha, Chairman of CPGC at Andhra Pradesh Dr. Shivaganesh Malla will be present.
