International workshop on “Borderless Biology: From Basics to Business” on Dec.18

Mysuru:  JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Division of Biochemistry, School of Life Sciences, Mysuru, is organising a three-day   international workshop on the theme “Borderless Biology: From Basics to Business” from Dec.18 to Dec. 20.

The workshop is exclusively for Ph.D students, research scholars and faculty involved  in biological research. With an aim to encourage researchers to transcend their basic research towards translational research, boosting their research perspectives and widening the scope of career in Science and Technology, this workshop will motivate the participants to carry out problem-solving research, benefiting the health and society. 

Overall, the workshop provides insights of basic and applied research strategies that aid in successful transition of “Basic Research  to Business.”  

Eminent speakers from  various research institutes, academia and industry like National University of Singapore;  University of Florida. USA; Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru; National Centre for Cell Science, Pune; JSS AHER, Mysuru; University of Mysore; Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Cochin; Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly, Kerala; The Himalaya Drug Company; Prosetta Bioconformatics Pvt Ltd; Vins Bioproducts Ltd; and Snakebite Healing and Education Society, Maharashtra, shall be engaging the participants with a broader spectrum of biological research in the workshop.
