Introduction to Kalaripayattu

A nine-day Kalaripayattu introductory programme has been organised in collaboration with the Department of Kannada and Culture with the aim of introducing the Indian traditional martial arts and cultural heritage to the public during the Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara and Navaratri festivities. The entire training and management of this programme will be conducted free of cost by the Kalari Sadhana, Mysuru. The training, which will be held at the Kalamandira premises in city, will be held everyday from 6 am to 7.30 am. About 15-20 people will be introduced to the various aspects of Kalaripayattu for nine days.
