KNC Innovative Global School
The Investiture Ceremony of the Student Cabinet for the academic year 2026-27 was organised on June 13 at the campus of KNC Innovative Global School, Hebbal Industrial Area, Mysuru.
The event was held with the motto, ‘Today’s Leadership, Tomorrow’s Legacy!’
The ceremony was presided over by the Institution Chairman Dr. K.N. Chandrashekar (KAS), who formally handed over responsibilities to the newly elected members of the Student Council.
The programme featured a march-past by the Physical Education Department, a performance by the School Band and the conferring of flags, sashes and badges to the office-bearers. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony.
In his presidential address, Dr. Chandrashekar highlighted the significance of leadership, discipline and responsibility.
School Principal B. Joseph Frank administered the oath of allegiance to all the newly elected members. Teaching and non-teaching staff of the school were present on the occasion.
JSS Public School
JSS Public School, Siddarthanagar, held its Investiture Ceremony at the School premises on June 17. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council members, who were entrusted with leadership responsibilities for the academic year 2026-27.
The programme commenced with an invocation. B. Latha, Principal, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the significance of leadership, responsibility, discipline and service in student life.
Gaurav, Scientist ‘D’ and Head of Office, Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Mysuru, who was the chief guest on the occasion, handed over the capes and flags to the newly elected office-bearers.
The Student Council members then took the oath of office, which was administered by S.L. Nagendra, Vice-Principal. The newly elected leaders proudly received the Guard of Honour.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Gaurav emphasised the importance of acquiring knowledge. He remarked that knowledge gives power and power must always be accompanied by responsibility. He encouraged the young leaders to utilise their authority wisely, lead by example and work wholeheartedly for the welfare and progress of the school community.
K.S. Rithisha, School Captain, proposed a vote of thanks. Anuradha Singh, CCA Coordinator, compered the programme. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem.
HARI VIDYALAYA
Students should cultivate leadership, discipline, responsibility and a spirit of service. The role of youth in nation-building is significant and good leadership qualities should be developed from school itself, said Dr. Vinay Vitthal, a retired Group Captain of the Indian Air Force, fighter pilot and strategic expert. He was the chief guest at the Investiture Ceremony held at Hari Vidyalaya, Bogadi.
Addressing the gathering after presenting the badges of office to the newly elected members of the Students’ Council, Dr. Vinay Vitthal recalled the courage, patriotism and spirit of sacrifice displayed by Indian soldiers during the India-China War.
He said that the bravery, dedication to duty and resilience shown by the Indian armed forces under adverse circumstances continue to serve as an inspiration to today’s youth.
He urged the students to develop qualities such as discipline, leadership, punctuality and teamwork, following the example set by soldiers. He further stated that while soldiers protect the honour of the nation on the battlefield, students should strive for excellence in education and bring pride to their school, society and the nation. He encouraged them to cultivate the courage to face challenges, remain steadfast in pursuing their goals and develop a deep sense of patriotism.
On the dais, H.R. Bhagavan, Secretary, Prof. K.V. Satyan, Academic Director and V. Ganesh, Principal, conveyed their best wishes to the newly elected office-bearers.
The newly elected members of the Students’ Council took an oath to work sincerely for the development of the school and the welfare of the students.
Members of the school management, the Principal, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
Orchids Public School
The Orchids Public School, Kumarabeedu, celebrated its Investiture Ceremony, formally entrusting leadership responsibilities to the newly elected Student Council members.
The chief guest of the event was Dr. R. Nagabhushan, Retired Professor of Economics, whose inspiring address encouraged students to lead with integrity, responsibility and purpose.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Chairman Ullas Pandit, CEO Yeshoda Pandit, Principal Anitha, Administrative Officer Asha and Head Master Suresh, whose guidance and encouragement added significance to the occasion.
The newly appointed Council members were formally sworn in, taking an oath to uphold the values of the institution and serve the school community with commitment and dedication.
The student leadership team includes School President Rithiksha and Vice-President Vidhyashree. The Council is further strengthened by Prime Minister Tejas, Discipline Minister Prerana, Environment Minister Sannidhi, Transport Minister Srujana, Cultural Minister Poorvika and Minister for Science & Technology Dhruva Teja, along with their respective Deputy Ministers.
House Captains and Vice-Captains also took the oath, marking the beginning of their leadership journey.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the role of young leaders in fostering a culture of discipline, collaboration and excellence. The event served as a platform to instil confidence and a sense of responsibility among students, preparing them to become capable leaders and responsible citizens.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and optimism, celebrating the spirit of leadership and reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
