IPL at UAE from Sept.19

Bengaluru: The eagerly awaited IPL (Indian Premier League) – 2020 cricket tournament will start in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) on Sep.19, with the final match scheduled to take place on Nov. 8.

Announcing this to newsmen  today, IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel said that the IPL-2020 would be a full 51-day tournament (Sept. 19 to Nov. 8).The IPL has been made possible by the ICC’s decision to postpone the Oct-Nov T20 World Cup in Australia owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, due to which the host country expressed its inability to conduct the event, he added.
