Mysuru: The IPL cricket matches going on in different parts of the country can now be viewed by the cricket lovers in Mysuru too on the big screen, said Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Mysuru Zone Chairman Sudhakar Rai.
Addressing a press conference at Pathrakartara Bhavan here yesterday, he said that the matches on Apr.21 and Apr.22 can be watched on a big screen at Mahajana College Ground in Jayalakshmipuram. “Watching it on the big screen will be like watching it live in the Cricket Stadium where the matches are going on,” he said.
The matches on both the days can be watched at 4 pm and 8 pm. Fun games have been organised during the matches and special prizes are also on offer. More than 5,000 people are expected to gather and special areas are earmarked for women, children and elderly people. The entry to the ground is free, he said.
“The BCCI has selected Mysuru city for the third time, among 36 cities to host the VIVO IPL Fan Park,” he added.
BCCI representative Ananth Dutt was also present during the press meet.
