Mysuru: An Italian national, who had come to inspect the construction of a building of Asian Paints at Himmavu Industrial Area in Nanjangud taluk, succumbed to injuries at a private hospital in Mysuru after falling from the under-construction building on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as M. Antony (58), who was working as an engineer.
Antony had gone to the under-construction building, where he accidentally slipped and fell down resulting in him suffering serious injuries.
Though he was rushed to a private hospital in Mysuru, he breathed his last after failing to respond to the treatment. Nanjangud Rural Police have registered a case.
