Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Krishnagiri Peethadheeshwar Pujyapad Jagadguru Sri Sri 1008 Acharya Sri Vasant Vijayanand Giriji Maharaj has concluded his tour of Mysuru and returned to Krishnagiri.
At the valedictory ceremony, a special programme was organised at the residence of Auditor Chandan Kumar Jain in Nazarbad.
Addressing the gathering, Jagadguru emphasised the unconditional respect children must show towards their parents.
He said no child should argue or engage in cross-talk with parents, as parents make lifelong sacrifices — from birth and upbringing to education, health, financial support and settling their children in life, including marriage.
Jagadguru also noted that the world is moving at lightning speed, with rapid modernisation and digital access making everything easier — from education to spirituality. However, he stressed the need to adhere to principles, culture and family values.
He urged children not to force their parents into retirement, observing that those who remain active stay healthier, while idleness leads to physical and mental decline.
Chandan Kumar Jain welcomed the guests. Abhinav Jain and Naman Jain introduced Jagadguru. Dolly and Bhavana felicitated the dignitaries. B.A. Kailashchand Jain proposed the vote of thanks.
