Mysuru: The District Administration will be conducting the yearly ‘Jana Mana’ programme to commemorate the completion of 4 years of present State Govt. led by Siddharamaiah, on May 13 at Kalamandira. Similar programmes will be conducted throughout the State on the same day.
Speaking during the meeting with various District-level officers at the DC’s office this morning, DC D. Randeep said that the State Government had increased the Ksheera Bhagya to Government school children from the 3 days to 5 days a week and similarly, the supply of rice under Anna Bhagya was increased from 5 kg to 7 kg to each beneficiary.
The ‘Jana Mana’ programme will be conducted by District in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa. The officials have been asked to submit a report on implementation of various schemes such as Anna Bhagya, Ksheera Bhagya, Krishi Bhagya, Rajiv Arogya Bhagya, Pashu Bhagya, Vidyashree, Manasvini, Mythri and other welfare schemes announced by the State Government. This part, the officials have also been asked to track the beneficiaries of all the schemes and invite them to attend the programme on May 13.
ZP CEO P. Shivashankar, MCC Asst. Commissioner Raju, DCP Dr. H.T. Shekar, AC C.L. Ananda, MUDA Secretary Savitha and others officials were present.
