130th birth anniversary of former PM Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s Day and 63rd Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations, ‘Hebbettininda Aksharada Kadege,’ workshop to teach illiterate Pourakarmika men and women to write their names in Kannada, littérateur Dr. C.P. Krishna Kumar inaugurates, scholar Dr. Malali Vasantha Kumar lights the lamp, DDPI Mamatha, poetess Dr. Latha Rajashekar, Literacy Committee Dist. Co-ordinator M. Manjunath and novelist Manjula Umesh will teach Pourakarmikas, Janani Seva Trust President and former Corporator Dr. M.K. Ashok presides, Akkana Balaga School, near Pathrakartara Bhavan, Thyagaraja Road, 11 am.
