Janapada Jhenkara: Folk musical event in city on Oct. 14

Mysuru: Renowned folk singer Gururaj Hosakote will present a ‘Janapada Jhenkara’ programme at Kalamandira in city on Oct.14 (Saturday) at 5.30 pm.

Addressing press persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan recently, he said that the event was organised to create awareness about folk music among the youths.

Gururaj said that he would be travelling across 30 districts of the State to hold similar programmes and added that his tour which starts from Mysuru would end in Bidar. He also added that after the Bidar concert, he would retire from his singing    profession.
