Mysuru: Jashne Eid Meelad-un-Nabi and Gharvin Shariff were celebrated at a function held at Sagar Cement in Bannimantap Industrial A Layout in city recently. The celebrations were organised by Tousif Ahmed and Majeed Ahmed, a DCC Member.

MLA Tanveer Sait graced the occasion, along with other prominent community members.

The programme began with recital of verses from the Holy Quran under the supervision of Hafiz Qari Tabraiz Raza, Imam of Eidgah Masjid and other Ulmas.

Tabruk (mass feeding) was organised for over 2,500 devotees. Majeed Ahmed and Tousif Ahmed felicitated prominent persons with Mysuru Peta, shawl and garland.
