Mysuru:  A meeting of activists of JD(S) Backward Class Wing of City and Rural area has been organised at Kalinga Rao Mantapa at Dasara Exhibition Grounds in city on  Feb.24 at 11 am.

Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here this morning, former MP A.H. Vishwanath said that the meeting will be attended by JD(S) leaders PGR Sindhia, Madhu Bangarappa, Bandeppa Kashempur and Amarnath. He has asked all JD(S) people’s representatives to participate in the meeting.

Continuing, Vishwanath said that law and order had totally failed in the State with Police personnel remaining silent. He alleged that Chief Minister Siddharamaiah was hoodwinking the people with false assurances and fictitious schemes. Referring to Siddharamaiah’s statement that H.D. Deve Gowda was not his (CM’s) mentor, Vishwanath questioned Siddharamaiah as to who made him the Dy.CM. Vishwanath asked Siddharamaiah to have some gratitude for the former PM.

District JD(S) President Narasihmaswamy and Corporator K.T. Chaluvegowda were present.
