JD(S) lodges complaint against District Minister

December 2, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Upset over the remarks made by District Minister S.T. Somashekar that C.N. Manjegowda, the  JD(S) candidate  for the Legislative Council polls from Local Authorities Constituency for the dual-member  Mysuru-Chamarajanagar   seat, was an accused in the kidney sale scam, the JD(S) has lodged a complaint with Deputy Commissioner Dr. Bagadi Gautham, seeking registration of an FIR against the Minister.

JD(S) Legal Cell Head N.R. Ravichandregowda, in his complaint lodged with the DC, said that the District Minister has made loose and baseless remarks against the JD(S) candidate during the poll campaign.

Claiming that such personal and loose remarks made without any proof are a violation of poll code of conduct, Ravichandregowda contended that an FIR be registered against the Minister for his unparliamentary and objectionable  language against the party’s poll candidate.

Party leaders Mallesh and Shailendra were present.
