JD(S) stir for water enters fifth day

Mysuru: The indefinite stir by JD(S) seeking release of water from Harangi Dam to canals, in front of Cauvery CADA Office on Sayyaji Rao road in city, entered the fifth day today with farmers staging a semi-nude demonstration.

KR Nagar MLA S.R. Mahesh said that State JD(S) President H.D. Kumaraswamy had asked them to wait for the outcome of the CM’s meeting with officials on the issue at Bengaluru tomorrow.
