Jewellery store Manager booked for cheating

Devaraja Police have booked a case against Vijaykumar, Manager of Lakshmi Gold Palace on Devaraja Urs Road here, for cheating the company to a tune of lakhs of rupees.

Vijaykumar, employed as Manager in the said jewellery store for three months since Oct. 2016, was said to have created fake documents and siphoned off  Rs. 15,000 in cash and gold jewels worth Rs. 1.82 lakh for personal gain.

It may be noted that Vijaykumar’s wife had lodged a complaint with Vijaynagar Police in Bengaluru recently alleging that her husband had been abducted by K.P. Nanjundi, entrepreneur and owner of Lakshmi Gold Palace.
