Job in Railways: Youth cheated  of Rs. 3.10 lakh by conman

Mysore/Mysuru: A youth from Vidyaranyapuram has been cheated of Rs. 3.10 lakh after he was promised a job in the Railways.

The youth who was cheated is C. Bharath Kumar. Bharath received a call on his mobile phone and the caller who introduced himself as Varun, told Bharath that he was an employee of the Railways.

Varun then told Bharath that he would get him (Bharath) a job in the Railway Department and got a total of Rs. 3.10 lakh transferred to his (Varun) bank account in phases but failed to get Bharath a job.

Stating that Varun has cheated him, Bharath has now lodged a complaint at Cyber, Economic and Narcotics (CEN) Crime Police Station.
