Journalist K.B. Mahantesh Memorial Award instituted

Madikeri: The Kodagu Press Club has instituted an annual award in memory of  Journalist K.B. Mahantesh, who passed away in November last, for effective reporting.

In a press release, Kodagu Press Club Joint Secretary Vignesh M. Bhootanakadu said that reports appearing in print media or telecast in electronic media between Jan.1 and Dec.31, 2017 will be considered for the award. Only members of Kodagu Press Club are eligible.

The last date for sending entries along with 3 copies of the report is Jan. 15. The decision to institute the award was taken at a meeting of the Press Club chaired by its President Ajjamada Ramesh Kuttappa recently.
