Journalists Co-op. Society inaugurated

Mysuru: The Mysore District Journalists Co-operative Society was inaugurated by MP. R. Dhruvanarayan at Mysore District Journalists Association (MDJA) premises, this morning.

Speaking on the occasion, he said this was the first Co-operative Society exclusively for journalists and added that he would sanction Rs. 5 lakh for the Society.

District Co-operative Union President H.V. Rajeev said that the Union would provide all necessary help for the Society.

MLA M.K. Somashekar had donated Rs. 10 lakh for the Association which has been utilised for construction of a dining hall, library, setting up of Co-op. Society and toilets at the premises.
