JSS Law College students win All India Moot Court Competition

Mysore/Mysuru: The team of Amulya N. Prasad, Nikita Susan Eapen and Rohan V. Gangadkar, all students JSS Law College, emerged winners in the 47th All India Moot Court Competition on Consumer Law held at Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College in Puducherry recently.

The winning team was honoured by Union Minister Piyush Goyal during the World Consumer Rights Day celebrations held at Takur College of Engineering and Technology in Mumbai.

The winning team also received a cash reward of Rs. 50,000. Rohan V. Gangadkar, who was declared as ‘Best Researcher,’ received a cash prize of Rs. 5,000. He is the son of advocate and ‘Law Guide’ Kannada monthly Editor H.N. Venkatesh.

A total of 55 teams from various Law Colleges across the country took part in the competition.
