JSS Mysore Urban Haat’s Craft Expo hits 100

Mysuru: The 100th edition of the Handicrafts Exhibition organised by JSS Mysore Urban Haat and JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP) was inaugurated last evening by G.M.Kumar, Managing Director, BTV News, Bengaluru. Prof. M.J. Kamalakshi, Chairperson, Karnataka Lalithakala Academy, Bengaluru, presided. Renowned film actress Amulya was the special invitee. Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, JSSMVP, Dr. C. Ranganathaiah, Director (P&D), JSS Technical Education Division, JSSMVP, B.R. Umakant, Joint Director (Projects), JSS Technical Education Division and K.S. Sunilkumar, Asst. Director, Handicraft Service Centre, Ministry of Textiles, were the chief guests.

The expo-cum-sale of handicrafts will be open for visitors at JSS Urban Haat, Hebbal Industrial Area, from 10 am to 9 pm till Feb. 17.
