JSS STU students win laurels at Hackathon

Mysore/Mysuru: NetApp, in association with JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU & SJCE), had recently organised a Hackathon for students.  Nikhil Vyas, a third year student of Information Science and Naman Oli, third year student of Computer Science & Business Systems, were announced winners. Both won a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 each.

NetApp is a cloud-first data-centric software company and a leader in the hybrid cloud services market. The company is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. The hackathon was a part of their industry-academia collaboration to identify and bridge existing industry-institute gaps. The initiative aims to empower students with the latest technologies and related skills.

JSS STU is at the forefront in upskilling students to be industry-ready and working closely in implementing NEP soon at the University, according to Dr. S. A. Dhanaraj, Registrar, JSS STU.
