JSS student for Sakura Science Exchange Programme in Japan

Mysore/Mysuru: The JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, located at Ooty Road in city, has entered into a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding with Hokkaido University, Japan, to facilitate academic, research, interdisciplinary knowledge and skill-development related activities.

Under this collaboration, K. Monisha, a Post-Graduate student pursuing M.Sc in Chemistry in the college, has been selected to participate in various academic activities of the Sakura Science Exchange Programme, sponsored by the Japan Science and Technology Agency, scheduled to be held in Japan from Mar. 2 to 8.

Monisha will be undertaking a visit to Japan as part of this programme. College Chief Executive Prof. B.V. Sambashivaiah, Principal Dr. M. Prabhu and Staff have, in a press release, expressed confidence that she will gain valuable learning experience during the visit, make effective use of this opportunity and serve as a role model for other students.
