Juloose Ghousia procession taken out in city

Mysuru: Juloose Ghousia (Procession), organised by Sarkar Mehaboob Subhani Foundation, near Meelad Park in Lashkar Mohalla, was taken out in city recently in which thousands of devotees participated.

The procession began from Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road. Alam-Kushai performed Fatha Khawni and Darud Salam. The procession was flagged off by Chief Qazi of Idhara Shariya (Islamic Court), Masjid Azam Markaz Ahle Sunnath-wal-Jamath, Mysuru, Hazarath Moulana Mufti Shamshul Huda Samadi.

Procession Convener Hafeezulla Shariff Khadri felicitated Ulmas and prominent leaders. The procession was led by Ulmas, Hazarath Moulana Fasiulla Warsi, Hafiz Tabraiz Raza, Imam of Eidgah Masjid, Masjid Azam Management Committee Member Syed Jameel Khadree, Meena Bazar Merchant Association Hon. President Ilyas Baig Khadree, Waali Charitable Trust Trustee Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, Ahmed Pasha Khadree, Tabraiz Kushali and other leaders.

The procession passed through Sawday Road, Dr. Zakir Hussain Circle, Eidgah Masjid Road and Pulikeshi Road before stopping at Muslim Burial Ground Circle where prayers were held for the departed souls.

The procession returned via K.T. Street, Sunni Chowk, Kantharaj Urs Park Road, Sattar Sait Block and prominent streets to reach Masjid-e-Azam.

Several Eid Meelad Committees, shopkeepers, area residents welcomed the procession. Badam milk, snacks and sweets were distributed.

Convener of Sarkar Mehaboob Subhani Foundation Hafeez Ulla Shariff Khadri, thanked City Police Commissioner, Police staff and participants on the occasion.
