Juluse-e-Chestiya procession taken out in city

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of 811th Annual Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Khwaja Moyeenuddin Chishti, Ajmer Shariff in Rajasthan, Juluse-e-Chistiya procession organised by Hafeezulla Shariff Khadri, Convenor of Sarkar Mehaboob Subhani Foundation, Sattar Sait Block, Lashkar Mohalla, was taken out in city recently under the supervision of Hazarath Moulana Mufti Shamshul Huda Chishti Samadhi, Chief Qazi of Idharah Shariya Masjid Azam Markaz Ahle Sunnath-wal-Jamath on Ashoka Road in city.

The procession, which began from Meelad Park Circle, was accompanied by Dawath Islami Hind Mubliqin, Azam Arabic College and various other Arabic College Students, Imam of Masjid Jyothi Nagar Hazarath Moulana Fasiulla Warsi, Imam of Masjid Eidgah Hazarath Moulana Tabraiz Raza, Imam of Masjid Azam Moulana Abdulla Aleemie, Meena Bazar Merchants Association President Ilyas Baig Khadree, Jameel Ahmed Ashrafi of Golden Palace Convention Centre, Chairman of Al Khalid Welfare and Charitable Trust Mohd. Mumtaz Ahmed, Masjid Azam Markaz Ahle Sunnath-wal-Jamath Managing Committee Member Syed Jameel Khadree, Amanulla Shariff, Syed Showkath Peeran, Ahmed Pasha Khadree, social worker Mirza Jamsheed Baig Ashrafi, Sadam Ashrafi, Tabraiz Kushali and devotees of Hazarath Khwaja Garibun Nawaz. The procession passed through Sawday Road, Mission Hospital Road, Pulikeshi Road, Muslim Burial Ground Circle and Fatha Khawni was performed. Earlier, Hafeezulla Shariff Khadri felicitated the Ulmas, prominent persons and Meena Bazar Merchants Association President Ilyas Baig Khadree.

During the procession, several residents and shop-keepers distributed fruit juice and snacks.

Dinner was organised for more than 1,500 people at Masjid-e-Azam by Hafeezulla Shariff Khadri, who thanked the participants, Mysuru City Police Commissioner and staff of Mandi Police Station.
