‘Junior Sports Day’ was celebrated by Kautilya Vidyalaya at its premises in Kanakadasanagar here recently.

The event was launched with Rajyotsava awardee Dr. B.N. Maruthi, School Principal Dr. L. Savitha, Pre-primary section co-ordinator Sneha Rao and other dignataries receiving the sports torch. Students from LKG to 2nd standard participated in various games.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Maruthi opined that interests and talents of children should be nurtured so that they can succeed in future.

Dr. Savitha said that the Sports Day is being organised every year and has become a sort of festival well enjoyed by the children.
