K.M. Basappa (91), retired English lecturer and a resident of T.K. Layout, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind his wife C.A. Leelavathi, three daughters, sons-in-law, grand-children and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Jayanagar Burial Grounds today., according to family sources.
