K.R. Pet doctor dies of COVID in City Hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A doctor, who was running a clinic at K.R. Pet and admitted to a private in city after he tested positive for COVID-19, passed away at the hospital yesterday.

A native of K.R. Pet taluk, the doctor developed COVID symptoms three days ago and was admitted to a private hospital in city, where he breathed his last yesterday morning, according to the officials of the Health Department.

Meanwhile, K.R. Pet Tahsildar A. Shivamurthy has urged those who had availed treatment at the clinic of the deceased doctor to voluntarily come forward and get themselves tested for COVID and help to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
