Seetharama Rao (93), former Head Master of Govt. Girls High School, Mysuru and Gen. Secretary of Teachers Association of Karnataka, passed away this morning at his residence here. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives.

He was involved in a lot of social service and had served as the Secretary of Babbur Kamme Sangha, Chandramouleswara Temple, Prasanna Parvati Kalyana Mantapa, Chirashanti Dhama and as a office-bearer of Sri Nadabrahma Sabha, Chinmaya Mission etc.

Last rites were performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam this afternoon.
