Kaginele Mutt Seer to interact with Overseas Kannadigas on Dec.13

Mysore/Mysuru: Kaginele Mahasamsthana Kanaka Gurupeetha Seer will interact with overseas Kannadigas on Saint Kanakadasa’s thoughts and Keerthanas on Dec.13 at 6 pm.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Overseas Kannadigas Organisation (Saudi Arabia) Unit Joint Secretary Ravi Mahadeva said that Overseas Kannadiga Organisation has organised this virtual programme as part of Kanakadasa Jayanti. Pointing out that Kaginele Mysuru Shakha Mutt Seer Shivanandapuri Swamiji will grace the occasion, he said that writer and Rashtriya Santakavi Kanakadasa Studies and Research Centre’s former Co-ordinator Ka. Tha. Chikkanna will deliver a talk. Hundreds of Kannadigas in more than 55 countries are expected to take part in this virtual interaction, which will be telecast live on ‘Sagarottara Kannadigaru’ facebook page, he said.

Continuing, Ravi Mahadeva said Overseas Kannadigas UAE unit President Chandrashekar Lingadalli, Gopal Kulkarni (England), Hemegowda Madhu (Italy), Ravi Mahadeva (Saudi Arabia), Basava Patil (UK) and several other office-bearers will take part in this online interaction. The virtual interaction will be telecast live on Facebook and other social networking sites at 6pm on Dec.13 in India, 12.30 pm local time in England, 1.30 pm local time in Europe and 4.30 pm local time in Arab countries, he added.

Kanaka Gurupeetha Mysuru Shakha Mutt Seer Shivanandapuri Swamiji, who also addressed the press meet, said that the interaction has been organised with the purpose of spreading Kanakadasa’s thoughts, principles and messages to the people.

The Mutt Secretary Puttabasavegowda, Kannada activist Dhanpal and others were present at the press meet.
