Kalasuruchi to host 3-day Children’s English Play Fest from tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Kalasuruchi has organised the 8th edition of Prof. Vishwanath Mirle Memorial Children’s English Play Festival at Suruchi Rangamane on Chitrabhanu Road in Kuvempunagar here from Nov. 14 to 16.

Mysore English Theatre Forum (METF) Founding Member and former IAS Officer A.K. Monnappa will inaugurate the Festival tomorrow (Nov. 14) at 6 pm.

Seven schools of the city will be participating in the event. The following plays will be staged during the 3-day Festival:

Nov. 14 – 6.30 pm: ‘Arjuna’s Dilemma’ by Gita Bharathi School of Excellence; 7.15 pm: ‘Kabuliwala’ by Acharya Vidya Kula, Mysuru.

Nov. 15 – 6 pm: ‘Pygmalion’ by The Orchids Public School; 7 pm: ‘Lawley Road’ by Arivu School.

Nov: 16 – 6 pm: ‘Kabuliwala’ by Excel Public School; 7 pm – ‘Wisdom paves the way’ by Hari Vidyalaya; 8 pm – ‘In the land of dreams’ by Maharshi Agasthya Gurukula.
