Kalasuruchi to present play ‘Manavemba Markata’

September 18, 2021

Kalasuruchi has organised staging of play ‘Manavemba Markata’ at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar tomorrow (Sept. 19) at 7 pm. The play, based on J.B. Prestly’s ‘An Inspector Calls,’ is translated to Kannada by H.K. 3Murthy.

The play revolves around a ill-fated girl and a rich family. Considering the members of the society as parts of a body, the play throws light on how if poison is induced to one part of the body, it affects the other parts of the body too. The interesting part in the play is that the girl will not appear on the stage but occupies the whole play. The play is the incidents that follow after her death.
