Kalasuruchi to stage play ‘Srimad Ramayana’ in Company style

Ramayana is an epic which is part of every Indian. Karnataka has a wonderful history of presenting this epic in its various forms. Either completely or the stories within the epic of Ramayana. Kalasuruchi, a cultural team, has engaged in various art forms like theatre, music and others for over 30 years in Mysuru. It proudly presents ‘Srimad Ramayana’ at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar, Mysuru, on July 6 and 7 (Saturday and Sunday) at 6 pm on both the days.

‘Srimad Ramayana’ is directed by noted Vidwan Y.M. Puttannaiah. He comes from a rich background of traditional theatre and he worked for a long time with Gubbi Company. Supreeth Bharadwaj and Chethan Singanalluru are the Assistant Directors, according to a press release from K. Nagaraj, Coordinator, Kalasuruchi.
