Mysore/Mysuru: Kamakshi Multi-Specialty Hospital at J.P. Nagar here has successfully performed a total knee replacement surgery on a 70-year-old woman.

The surgery was performed by Orthopaedic Surgeons Dr. T. Madhusudhan and Dr. V.R. Vasuki and team on the woman from Kollegal, who was suffering from Bilateral Osteoarthritis Knee with difficulty in walking and unable to carry out her daily activities.

After the surgery, the woman was made to stand and walk with the support of a walker and was discharged from the hospital within a week.
