Mangaluru: Kannada actor and senior theatre person Prakash Heggodu passed here yesterday. He was 58.

Prakash was being treated at a private hospital in Mangaluru where he died. He has acted in more than 35 movies.

Prakash is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.

His mortal remains were taken to his native Purappemane in Sagar taluk in Shivamogga district.

He has acted in movies such as ‘Raja Huli’, Santha, Bhagyad Balegara, Kalpana-2, Modern Mahabharatha among others.
