Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Kannada Rajyotsava and Vishwamanava Kuvempu Jayanti celebrations, Karnataka Sena Pade will be hosting a Musical Evening Programme at Vivekananda Circle in Vivekanandanagar, Mysuru, today (Dec. 30) from 6 pm.

It will be followed by a stage programme at 7.30 pm. Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple Founder Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji will grace the occasion. Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar will inaugurate the event.

MLC C.N. Manjegowda will preside. MLA K. Harishgowda will offer floral tributes to the portrait of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. Krishnaraja MLA T.S. Srivatsa will offer floral tributes to the portrait of Kuvempu.

MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah will present Kannada Rajyotsava Award. Former MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev will distribute books and stationeries to children. Kannada Sena Pade State President C.R. Srinivasagowda will deliver talk on Kannada Rajyotsava.

Akhila Karnataka Vokkaligara Sangha Hon. President Dr. C.Y. Shivegowda will distribute cloth bags. Rajya  Vokkaligara Sangha General Secretary C.G. Gangadhar will distribute sweets. MLC K. Vivekananda and actor S. Jayaprakash will be the special invitees.
