Applications invited to book stalls

Mysuru: The Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Dharwad District Administration will be hosting the three-day 84th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana at the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) premises, Dharwad, from Jan. 4 to 6 next year.

Applications are invited to book the stalls for the exhibition. As many as 200 stalls each measuring 10X10 feet will be available at the venue at a rental of Rs. 3,000 for each stall.

Those interested to set up their stall may send a Demand Draft for Rs. 3,000 favouring ‘84th Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana Samithi.’

50 book stalls

Apart from this, the organisers have decided to put up 50 book stalls at the campus. Permission will be given to exhibit around 500 books in every shop. A stall of 10 X10 feet measurement will be set up and a rent of Rs. 2,500 is fixed for each book stall. A DD for the said amount may be sent to the President of District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Sahitya Bhavan, near N.R. Shetty Auditorium, Dharwad – 580001 or President, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Chamarajapet, Pampa Mahakavi Road, Bengaluru- 560018 before Dec.20. Those who send DD in advance would be given preference. The Sahitya Sammelana Samithi will finalise the selection of the stall-seekers. Those who set up their stalls must compulsory use clothe material for display of their flex and banners but not plastic.
