Nanjangud: On the lines of the famous Ganga Aarti in Kashi, Yuva Brigade volunteers have organised Kapila Aarti on the banks of River Kapila in the temple town on Sunday (Dec. 21) at 6 pm. Swami Muktidanandaji of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Mysuru, will grace the occasion.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) National Joint Secretary Gopal and Yuva Brigade Founder Chakravarty Sulibele will be present at the event.

Earlier in the day, devotees can offer ashta theertha abhisheka to Lord Srikanteshwaraswamy at Hadinaru Kalu Mantapa at 9 am.
