‘Karate for Self-Defence’ programme held

As part of World Karate Day, the Mysore Karate Association had organised a ‘Karate for Self-Defence’ programme at University of Mysore Sports Pavilion in city on June 18. SP Seema Latkar inaugurated the event which featured ‘Kata’ demonstration by students of various Karate Schools. University of Mysore Physical Education Department Director Dr. C. Venkatesh, Association Hon. President C.S. Arun Machaiah and President Sosale Siddaraju, DYES Assistant Director K. Suresh and others were present.
