Karnatak vocal concert tomorrow

Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised Karnatak vocal concert by Vidu. Snigdha Desiraju tomorrow at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru.

She will be accompanied by Vidu. Dr. Veena Suresh on violin and Vid. Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga.

The programme is sponsored by  Desiraju Family in memory of Smt. Desiraju Tripurasundari and Sri Desiraju V. Narasimharao.

Artiste profile: Vidu. Snigdha Desiraju is an engineering graduate and did her Diploma in Karnatak music. Presently she is under the tutelage of Vid. Malladi Ravikumar and Vid. Ramakrishna Murthy.

Snigdha has won several accolades from Narada Ganasabha, Madras Music Academy, TTD and many more. She has performed at prestigious platforms in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

She is performing for the first time in city, according to a press release from  C.G. Ravishankar, Secretary, Ganabharathi.
